Latest News - Extreme Makeovers for tired cars ‘include free feel-good factor’

More motorists are opting for cosmetic renovations of their existing cars rather than buying a replacement.

Owners of cars up to ten years old are turning to Bodytech for an in-depth ‘extreme makeover’ that can take years off a car’s look and feel.

Bodytech’s Transform packages includes a professional standard paintwork renovation treatment for a deep showroom finish and inch-by-inch attention to wheels, trim and body components.

The company’s vehicle renovation specialist Ian Wiggins says: “We deal with the wear and tear inflicted by automatic car washes, flying stones, and the odd ‘dings’ and scrapes that all cars suffer as the miles go by.

“We love watching customers’ eyes light up as they see their car when we’ve finished with it. It recaptures the feel good factor that people enjoy with a new car, but at a tiny fraction of the price.”

Ken Band, the owner of a nine-year-old Seat Alhambra people-carrier that Bodytech ‘Transformed’, said: “It’s just amazing. I had given up on the idea of ever seeing it look good.

“The car was imported second-hand from Singapore where it must have been put through a really harsh car wash dozens of times. It’s a great car but the paintwork was ‘crazed’ and dull and nothing I did made any difference.

“It is now gleaming like a showroom model and the makeover has also transformed the alloy wheels, the bumpers, the black trim and the glass – it even has the fresh scent of a new car. It has actually restored value to the car and given it a new lease
of life.”

Transform packages are individually priced, starting at £199. Contact us for details.
