raining and the windscreen is wet, switch your wipers on for three or four strokes and then
switch off. If streaks remain on the screen for more than four seconds, then the blades are

Car tax due?

Are you sure that your MoT certificate runs to the same date or has it already expired? If you have ever taxed your vehicle for six months, the two may be out of sync.

If you can’t find your MoT to check, the DVLA website enables you to find out if your MoT certificate is still current, using the application number from the reminder and application form that you receive about three weeks before the tax is due for renewal.

How can you tell, if you’re in the driving seat? The answer is to find a large window, say in a supermarket, and check all your indicators, brake lights and running lights in the reflection. Any non-working bulbs will be immediately obvious.
